When my first son was born, we had so many false alarms that I thought it was another one when the ex actually did go into labour. ;)

That is an excellent suggestion. The night before we had our first, the missus and I went to a Mexican restaurant. Darned if she didn't go into labor that next morning and deliver two weeks early. Of course, since that time she can't eat Mexican food without thinking about the 12 hour labor that followed...
