I'm not allowed to give blood now, but in the days when I was, I tried to volunteer, and although they could get a sample of blood from me, they coouldn't get a pint!
My veins are too small, and I was excused from trying to give blood again!

I felt really embarrassed when everyone could see the nurses unplug me, and tell me not to come back!

Batty, look at it like this: At least they didn't stab around in your arm trying to find a vein to get enough blood. *shudders*

But they did. I don't mind seeing blood though, and I generally view all the medical programmes on television.

I enjoy watching operations! It's feet and eyes that turn my stomach!

BTW, could you, in a millions years, have guessed that Windows Live Movie Maker can't handle Windows Media Video (.wmv) files? i mean, seriously?

i've been doing a little fan video the last couple days. little fan made trailer thing as a pet project. since i got a new comp and wanted to try my hand at editing. used the program to make a bunch of clips so i could edit them together, add music, etc. go to make the final product out of all these clips, spent the better part of 6 hours putting them together, getting the transitions right, getting the order right, getting the clips to line up with the music (some of it happened by accident though, can't complain too much).

so i go to save the vid, it keeps telling me the video files are corrupted or it doesn't recognize them. the same files I JUST MADE with the very same program. the same files that run just fine in windows media player AND VLC media player. AND play just fine in the preview the program generates. are you -ing kidding me? spent another two hours searching online for anwsers, and trying different things. nothing.

i took a break, got some McDs, watched some grimm, and sighed and then spent the last 6 or so hours doing it all over again with the original larger files that i had cut down into clips to "make it easier". surprisingly, THAT worked. go figure. :?

so yeah, i just spent the better part of the last 15 hours on this..... thing. (not counting the time i had spent making the clips over the last few days)

and i was doing it "for fun"

still.

i mean, i like the program, it flows nicely and the UI is very easy to use (could use a few more features, but hey, its free), its just an odd little quirk to have i think.
