Charge 'em a pound a visit!!
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

And open tea rooms, with postcards and keyrings and crap like that!

Go for it Batty! I did a walking tour of the local blue plaques commemorating famous authors who frequented Worthing but I think the residents were a bit suspicious of a strange looking fellow taking pics of their houses. (I was quite surprised about some of the residents and a bit disappointed that the Conservative Party here in Worthing had removed one from their HQ.)

Today is my leaving party! :D  Even though I've got another week to work

Round to a workmates house for dinner (bless him, I'll have to buy him something pretty), then on to the pub, and dancing at a 90's club :character-beavisbutthead: So I'll have to pace myself :P

I was so happy when school finished today. My history teacher was in such a bad mood that she actually made a boy start to cry because he didn't know when the Battle of Hastings was.She is getting meaner every day

Image I hope she doesn't make the holes too big ... Living on the coast could mean that a fisherman might take them! ...
Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)

Hope you had a great leaving party, Dotsie! Apologies if I missed this somewhere, but what's next? (job wise or partying, either will do! ;))

Sorry to hear that, Author. Some teachers can really make Vetinari seem like a fluffy bunny! One of mine had a favourite, but that didn't stop reducing said favourite to tears in a language lesson. She wouldn't let me help by taking over the translation on which my fellow student had obviously got a mental block, at least not until the tears were actually rolling down her cheeks and onto the book! There were only two of us in the class and, what was even more astounding, we were at A level stage and both 18 at the time... Adults? I wasn't surprised to read somewhere that one past student got her leg trapped between the wall and the radiator in class and stayed like that for the whole lesson because she was too scared to say anything to that same teacher!
If all is not lost, then where is it?
