Just had our loft converted for me, the walls have bookshelves for my Discworld collection and the middle has a large table for my Lego collection.

See... I can crochet up a storm.... but I dont like crocheted things in my house.....

Last night it finally paid off!!!!

The bottom of the mesh container that holds the cutlery in the dishwasher has been deteriorating with age although the dishwasher itself is going just fine. Its well out of date for spare parts and though I keep my eyes open I havent seen a new cutlery container for it. Recently I have been forced to use only three of the eight compartments as little holes i the mesh open up and if the knives or forks drop through they stop the rotating arm in the bottom... rotating.

I was going through the pantry last night and found a ball of cooking string (can withstand high temps etc) and EUREKA!

So.... I sat down and crocheted a string mesh bottom for the cutlery container and sewed it onto the container.

Its working brilliantly!
