You and mC are completely failing to realise the full significance of my visit.

Of the 70+ students I have, approx 50 are wimmin aged 18+. Most of them will go to this outlet in the next couple of weeks. I've already been. It's topical and I have a good story to tell them about it. This means my lessons for the next week will be taken up with chatting about the outlet and showing them photos. So for spending a couple of hours waiting and shopping for some summer work clothes, means my students will all think I'm hip and trendy and it'll save me time planning lessons. 8-)

I'm not really a tree-hugging, latte-drinking, liberal pinko-commie, but a closet Tory.

I have lots of things to talk to them about, but it's a question of topicality. This shopping centre is the biggest thing to happen in this backwater neck of the woods since....um....er....some traffic lights were installed on the corner of Sushi Road and Karaoke Avenue.
Lat week I bored them all with my UK trip and photos. 8-)

Here are two brain teasers to keep you occupied.

1. Two days ago, John was 17. Next year he's 20. Explain how this is possible.

2. Two twins were born 5 minutes apart, yet one twin is two days older than the other. Explain how this is possible.

2 was already guessed, but I'm bored and I was thinking (not the right answer I know but just for fun):
if one is born at 1158pm 28 february and the other at 1203am 1 march, in those years that have 29 february (leap years??) their birthdays would be two days apart  ...

about n 1
2 days ago it was 30 december of year 1and he was 17, his birthday is 31 december and he turned 18. now is year 2 and this year he'll turn 19. next year he'll be 20

I had to look up international date line on wikipedia . I'll go hiding now.

Lol, i couldn't remember the name of the date line (knew what it was, just forgot the name), so figured i'd throw out flight thinking that would be ok.

Rachel and Rosy look exactly the same. They are the same age and they have the same parents, but they are not twins. Explain.
