Cor, we should start that over here! In India they have a day for men to buy stuff for their sisters, and they get woven bracelets in return (or that's what my boss told me anyway, when I said "what's with the bracelets dude?")
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Never heard of it! We don't have it over here. Sounds fun though. :) Of course, Derek would be asking the same thing Tony did.

No, not really - Sjoerd had nothing to do with it (it'd have been mash-strawberries by the time they got here :P ) and I don't think I got them because of their "heart shape" either... it's an old family friend who brought them :D

Edit: They take women's day pretty seriously over here (because of the socialistic influences) so it's very common to get flowers (usually red ones) from basically anyone (family, friends, classmates, random people on the street  ...)

:o :o I am moving THERE!

Not so much celebrated here, though the girls mention it to each other

Yeah Dots I know about the present giving in India. We got alot of indian men and ladies in for that this year. Ohhhhhhhh the pain of it....... "I need ten pairs of gold earrings..... this is my wife so she can chose first... the other sets we are buying for sisters and aunties have to be similiar but of course my wifes have to be the nicest, but one pair for my mother has to be as good as my wifes but not the same. And then we need another eight." When I asked one girl who was shopping for her family I asked if she needed anything for her oldest brother and she said "Oh no! This year I bought him a watch. It only cost $2000. Last year was a shocker though; I bought him a new motorbike for $8,000. Still.... he IS my oldest brother and deserves it." :o

I never did find out what you might buy for a younger brother.

Because Del has uploaded the picture to that post only - it only exists on that post, it's not connected by a url to a hosting site. ;)

And cause Del is slack and this is easier.

That and she cant remember her photothingie password.

Can I ask Tony? If I then delete the pic off my computer will it disappear from the forum as well? Cause I have all those bleeding "numbers" for lets count thread and I was thinking of deleting them.

No, you can go ahead and delete them from your computer. They are uploaded to the thread now and won't vanish when you delete them. ;)
